AMORES SOBRIOS
Amores Sobrios is a short film that won the 3rd drug prevention contest, created and directed by Guillermo Trochón.
Rotoscopy is a type of animation that illustrates frame by frame over a video file. This technique allows the drawing to capture the fluidity of movements, naturalness of expressions, lights, shadows, and proportions of the original footage while adding the unique expressiveness and character of the illustration.
This short film addresses the issue of problematic alcohol use and highlights the benefits of water. Rotoscopy was included as a visual language in its production to achieve a unique plastic, chromatic, and compositional expression. This technique not only allows for fluidity of movement and naturalness in expressions but also brings a dreamlike, fantastic, and surreal dimension to the narrative, enriching the story and capturing inner journey of the protagonist.
